An animated version of Lewis Carroll's classic “Alice in Wonderland” : a combination of live action and stop-motion animation. The Wonderland that the real Alice roams is a grotesquely intricate world of animated toys and constantly changing proportions. The adaptation comes much closer to the surrealist spirit of the original than Walt Disney's animated version of 1951.
